Course Description

Difficult to manage employees exist in every business, every industry, and at some point for every manager.  Although some employees may exhibit difficult to manage characteristics for only a short period of time during their employment, others may be perpetually difficult to manage no matter what context or situation they are placed in. This insightful course provides managers with tips and strategies to help identify potentially difficult to manage employees throughout each phase of the employment lifecycle including interviewing, hiring, and onboarding as well as provide guidance on disciplinary actions and potential exit plans for employees that are unable to change their behaviors.

This course also outlines red flags of potentially difficult to manage employees so that you'll be able to identify a problem before it creates destructive results for the organization. This course provides best practices for reducing the problematic behaviors among employees that cause unnecessary conflict and impede productivity. We'll go over how to best manage these situations when they arise and how to prevent them altogether from occurring in the first place. From re-engaging problematic employees in the workplace, creating motivation for them to be more positive and productive, through the process of performance improvement plans and disciplinary action, this course will help mangers and employees establish methods and procedures for working with difficult employees in order to achieve sustained, positive and productive outcomes.
