Course Description

This online course on Team Management and Leadership Skills is developed for anyone interesting in becoming the transformative leader your team needs.

 We begin with an introduction to the roles of the manager and leader, and what modern leaders know that help them to lead and manage successful teams. From there, we explore leadership theories and styles used by the most famous leaders from history and today.

We discuss the importance of emotional intelligence, and the skills needed for high EQ. From there, we take the leader on a journey, from hiring the right person, to getting them onboarded to culture and norms, breaking the ice, and developing their skills.

There are certain important skills that all leaders need, and this course spends times learning about them all: communication, delegation, management, and coaching. We round out this course with an in-depth look at how a leader manages during a transition, and the skills he or she will need to get their team through a crisis. To end, we will look at how managing a remote team differs from managing an on-site team.

This course takes leaders through everything they need to know to be effective and innovative in their company as a team leader and manager.
